Hearts of Oak motivated to finish season on high note

Hearts of Oak head coach Aboubakar Ouattara has revealed his team’s motivation ahead of their final Ghana Premier League match against FC Samartex.

The Phobians aim to secure a top-four finish and are determined to win the encounter.

“We have prepared well for the last game of the season, although there are some injuries. We are motivated because we want to win to try and get into the top four,” Coach Ouattara said in the lead-up to the game.

He acknowledged that the match won’t be easy, as FC Samartex is the defending champion and has been playing well.

“That motivation is very high. We know the team coming is the defending champion. It won’t be easy for us because they are playing well,” he added.

The match is scheduled for Sunday, June 8, at the Accra Sports Stadium, with kickoff at 3 pm. Hearts of Oak will look to end the season on a high note and secure a top-four finish.
