Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko are both interested in signing forward Isaac Mintah ahead of the January transfer window.

The 25-year-old is currently without a club after parting ways with Libyan side Al-Ahli following a change in ownership.

Mintah joined Al-Ahli in February 2024 after a standout season with Ogya Lads in the Ghana Premier League.

He has reportedly been training with Asante Kotoko since October and is being assessed by the club’s technical team.

Rivals Hearts of Oak have also expressed interest in the forward as they look to strengthen their attack for the upcoming season.

Mintah enjoyed a successful 2023/24 season, scoring 17 goals and providing 4 assists in 40 appearances
