Former Ghana Premier League-winning coach, Bashiru Hayford has opened up about an approach from Hearts of Oak.
According to him, the Ghanaian giants have contacted him for the head coach job of the first team.
Speaking to Akoma FM in an interview, Coach Bashiru Hayford said he is ready to work for the Phobians.
“Yes, Hearts of Oak contacted me, and I sent them my CV. The approach was made when they were going to play Gold Stars.
“If they think the current coach is underperforming and therefore my service is needed, I will be very happy to join them,” Coach Bashiru Hayford said.
This comes after reports emerged that Hearts of Oak are looking at partying ways with head coach Martin Koopman as a result of the team’s tough start to the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League.
While it is unclear if Hearts of Oak wants to get rid of Martin Koopman, it is clear that fans are unhappy with the form of the Phobians.
