Ghanaian striker Daniel Afriyie-Barnieh is on the verge of completing a transfer to Swedish giants, Malmo FF.
The 21 year old is set join Elado Stadion outfit on a free transfer in January after talks to renew his contract with Hearts of Oak stalled.
His current deal with the Phobians runs out at the end of December this year.
Malmo are reportedly looking to pounce on the situation to secure his services as they look to bolster their squad in the winter transfer window.
Barnieh has been one of Hearts’ key players, playing a major role in their FA Cup title wins as well as the Ghana Premier League triumph two seasons ago.
He was part of 26-man Black Stars squad that represented Ghana at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
