Ghanaian heavyweight Accra Hearts of Oak have extended the contract of midfielder Daniel Kodie after recovering from a long-term injury.
The player put pen to paper on a two-year contract extension to relaunch his career.
Kodie has been out of the Phobians’ lineup for several months after suffering a career-threatening injury during the Normalization Committee’s Special Competition in 2019.
In May 2021, he underwent surgery at the Netcare Linksfield Hospital in South Africa and he has fully recovered to make a return in the upcoming season.
He joined the reigning MTN FA Cup champions on a three-year deal in 2016 from Dansoman-based Liberty Professionals.
