Former Chelsea legend Michael Essien has expressed his belief in Mohammed Kudus and his peculiar talent to go on and become a world-beater in football.
Essien, a name synonymous to the English Premier League for Chelsea and Ghanaian’s, has heralded Mohammed Kudus for his exploits, in a recent interview with Talk Sports.
Kudus moved from the Dutch capital (Amsterdam) to the English capital (London) in a €43m deal, and has since gone on to take the Premier League by the scruff of the neck, ripping teams apart with his mazy solo runs and his gliding ability to maneuver through defenses.
Kudus’ persistent ability to stick the ball to his foot to take on and terrorize opposing teams, saw him complete the most-take-ons in the English top flight.
For Essien, who formerly played for Chelsea in arguably the most demanding league (English Premier League), he is optimistic about Mohammed Kudus making the cut amongst the world best
“I rate him very highly, and he’s got everything to be at the top. He is a good footballer and had got everything to be at the top”, he said.
Essien, who works as a coaching staff at one of Mohammed Kudus’ former clubs (Nordsjaelland), has taken upon himself to bear the mandate of refining and churning out the finest talents.
