Hans Nunoo Sarpei positive Ghana will excel in Qatar

FC Ingoldstadt midfielder, Hans Nunoo Sarpei is positive Ghana will show it’s “prowess” at the FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

The Black Stars will make their fourth appearance in the world biggest football tournament since 2006, after missing the last edition on Russia four years ago.

Ghana is drawn in group H with Portugal, Uruguay and South Korea at the global showpiece which commences on November.

Sapei,who plies his trade in Germany has expressed confidence that the squad will made an impact in the upcoming tourney.

“Over the years, Ghana have proven to be one of the best teams to represent Africa on the continent and I have no doubt, the team will prove its prowess again in Qatar,” Sarpei told Graphic Sports in an interview.

“The team is made up of so many talented players who have what it takes to make the nation proud in Qatar so I am convinced they will qualify from the group stage.”

Sapei is yet to make his international debut for the Black Stars despite being considered by Coach Addo in recent times.
