Hamza Issah scored his first goal in five months as Hearts of Oak beat Accra Lions 3-1 on Friday in the Ghana Premier League.

The former Auroras forward was without a goal for Hearts since scoring against Berekum Chelsea in a 3-1 win in December 2024.

Issah bagged Hearts of Oak’s last goal against a spiritless Accra Lions in a routine 3-1 win.

The goal marked Issah’s first goal in 13 games, highlighting the striker’s struggles in front of goal.

Additionally, it was the forward’s first strike in the league in 2025.

Issah burst onto the scene as a promising talent but has struggled to deliver this term.

His goal, however, put Hearts of Oak two points behind Kotoko, who are fourth as the season comes to an conclusion.
