A late goal from forward Hadi Mohammed earned Karela United a point in their 1-1 draw against defending champions FC Samartex in the Ghana Premier League.
The match, held at the Aliu Mahama Stadium in Tamale, saw both teams put on impressive performances on Sunday afternoon.
FC Samartex took the lead just before halftime, with Godwin Sefah scoring in the 45th minute.
However, Mohammed stepped up in the 90th minute to equalize for the hosts, securing a point at home.
FC Samartex now sit eighth in the league standings with six points after four matches, with an outstanding game against Medeama SC.
Meanwhile, Karela United, currently in 10th place with five points from five games, will travel to face Basake Holy Stars in their week six fixture.
