Pep Guardiola believes Robert Lewandowski would be a good fit for Barcelona but is not sure whether the Catalan club can sign him.
Lewandowski has a year left on his Bayern Munich contract but has already insisted he will not sign fresh terms, with Barcelona looking to strike a deal.
“I have no idea, to be honest, but would he be a good fit? We are talking about Lewandowski,” the Manchester City boss, who used to manage the striker at Bayern, said.
“He would adapt perfectly well anywhere. But I don’t know if Barcelona can sign him because of their financial situation or if Bayern [Munich] will let him leave.”
Lewandowski has heavily been linked with a move to Spanish giants Barcelona, with reports indicating he has agreed personal terms with Xavi’s outfit.
