Greuther Furth manager Frank Kramer says the club will reluctantly consider selling Ghana defender Baba Abdul Rahman only if the price is right.

The left-back has been a subject of intense transfer talks with the Cloverleaves set to be relegated from the German top flight.

Clubs such as Shalke and Fiorentina have been most talked off as the most probable destination for the former Asante Kotoko loanee.

And despite Furth’s president Helmut Hack declaring they won’t be selling the flying fullback until after spending at least one more season in Bavaria, manager Frank Kramer says the club will reluctantly agree to a move but only for the right price.

“Actually, we don’t want to sell Baba (Abdul Rahman), but if a good offer comes along of course you cannot keep a single player when you have a whole set to take care of,” he said.

Kramer’s comments after the ‘no-sale’ declaration made by the club President is likely to reignite the mounting interests for the yet-to-be capped Black Stars player.

Greuther Furth are facing a real fight to keep hold of their bright players (Baba Rahman inclusive) with relegation from the Bundesliga not too far off.
