GPL: Vision FC turn to home fortress as Nations FC visit Tema

Vision FC will look to lean on their formidable home record when they host Nations FC at the Nii Adjei Kraku II Sports Complex on Saturday, December 27, in a crucial Premier League relegation battle.

After a bright start to the season, Vision’s campaign has stalled dramatically. A seven-game winless run has dragged the Tema-based side into the drop zone, where they now sit 16th and just two points from safety.

Yet while results have dipped, their home form has remained a major source of hope.

Vision are unbeaten at home this season and have not lost a league game at the Nii Adjei Kraku II Sports Complex in 18 matches.

That run includes five clean sheets this term and only three goals conceded, making their ground one of the toughest places to visit in the league.

Nations FC arrive in Tema encouraged by a narrow win over Young Apostles that lifted them into mid-table. Frimpong Manso’s side have won three of their last five matches, but their away struggles remain stark.

They are still searching for a first away victory this season, having lost six of seven on the road.

With Vision fighting for survival and Nations desperate to end their travel woes, Saturday’s clash sets up as a high-pressure contest where home resilience meets away-day anxiety.
