Bibiani Gold Stars suffered a defeat in their pursuit of the Ghana Premier League title, losing 2-0 to Vision FC in a crucial match on Sunday at Nii Adjei Kraku II Sports Complex

Despite maintaining a clean sheet streak prior to the game, Gold Stars were eventually breached by Edward Agyemang’s strike 10 minutes into the second half.

Edmond Asante sealed the win for Vision FC with a well-taken goal four minutes from full time.

The victory marked a significant turnaround for Vision FC, propelling them to 14th place in the league standings, surpassing Accra Lions.

Meanwhile, the loss narrowed Bibiani Gold Stars’ lead at the top of the table to just two points, intensifying the competition for the league title.
