Ghanaian goalkeeper Richard Ofori is set to begin his tenure at AmaZulu Football Club under new management following the dismissal of Spanish coach Pablo Franco Martin.
AmaZulu’s poor run of form, suffering three consecutive losses, led to Martin’s exit, and Ofori will now need to adapt to a new coach.
The 30-year-old recently joined the KwaZulu Natal-based club after leaving Orlando Pirates at the end of the 2023/24 season upon the expiration of his contract.
Ofori, with significant experience in the South African PSL, is expected to strengthen AmaZulu FC as they aim to compete for the league title.
Since leaving Wa All Stars in 2017, he has featured for Maritzburg United and Orlando Pirates, where he won three MTN8 trophies.
