Goalkeeper Richard Ofori joins Black Stars camp, takes part in second training session

Experienced goalkeeper, Richard Ofori is the latest to report to the camp of the Black Stars.

The shot-stopper is one of three goalkeepers invited by Ghana head coach Chris Hughton for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament.

He was absent on Tuesday when the Black Stars opened camp in Kumasi and could not train with his teammates.

Today, Richard Ofori is one of two players to have joined the camp of the Black Stars to hold a second training session as part of the preparations for the 2023 AFCON.

The other player who reported to camp and trained with the Black Stars today is striker Jordan Ayew.

The total number of players in camp now is 25 except midfielder Mohammed Kudus and striker Inaki Williams.

The duo is expected to be in camp by the close of Thursday, January 4.

Ghana at the 2023 AFCON will compete with Cape Verde, Egypt, and Mozambique.

The 2023 AFCON is scheduled to kick off on January 13 in Ivory Coast.
