Ghana Premier League side Asante Kotoko have named Frederick Asare as their new captain ahead of the upcoming season.
Asare succeeds Ibrahim Danlad, who left the club after his contract ended.
Former Medeama FC player Justice Blay will serve as the vice-captain.
The Porcupine Warriors will kick off the new season with an away clash against Karela United at the Aliu Mahama Stadium.
