Ghana’s Schools U15 Boys face Nigeria in quest for Semi finals berth at WAFU B qualifiers

Ghana’s Schools U15 Boys team will renew the age long rivalry with their Nigeria counterparts in their last group match as they seek qualification to the semi-finals at the WAFU B Schools championship in Lome.

Ghana’s School U15 Boys side started this year’s CAF African Schools Football qualifiers for the WAFU B Zone on a slow note after being handed a 2:1 defeat by Benin.

The team came back strong in their second game to beat host, Togo 1-0 thriller.

The third game ended in a goalless draw with Ivory Coast.

Ghana has one last game against Nigeria to clear tomorrow, November 25 as team aims for a place in the semi-final.

The CAF African Schools Football Championship is the brainchild of the President of Confederation of African Football, Dr. Patrice Motsepe aimed at contributing to the development of Africa’s next generation of football talent and future leaders.
