In a setback for FC Köln, budding talent German-born Ghanaian youngster Justin Diehl will be notably absent from Wednesday’s training session.
The 19-year-old offensive player, who showcased his skills in FC Köln’s recent draw against Wolfsburg on January 27th, is sidelined due to illness.
The club has yet to disclose the expected duration of Diehl’s absence, leaving fans in suspense regarding when the promising youngster will make his return to the training ground.
In the game against Wolfsburg, Faride Alidou scored the first goal for FC Koln with a header from the centre of the box to the top left corner following a set piece situation in the 38th minute.
Justin Diehl came on in the 76th minute to replace Dejan Ljubicic.
Kevin Paredes scored the equalizer with a left footed shot from very close range to the centre of the goal. Paredes goal was assisted by Joakim Mæhle.
