Ghanaian youngster Joseph Amoako in no hurry to leave Helsingborgs IF despite lack of playing time

Ghanaian international, Joseph Amoako says he is determined to stay at Helsingborgs IF to fight for a place in the team.

The former Asante Kotoko forward joined the Swedish club with a lot of expectations earlier this year but is yet to command a place in the starting eleven.

Despite a lack of playing time, Joseph Amoako says he is ready to stay at Helsingborgs IF and is not in a hurry to leave.

According to him, he takes inspiration from the story of compatriot Benjamin Acquah whose early days in Sweden were similar to his story.

“I’m ready to stay. He [Benjamin Acquah] did it, then I can do it too,” Joseph Amoako has said in an interview.

During the September international break, the forward put in a lot of work.

He is determined to continue working his socks off to merit the favour of the technical team at Helsingborgs IF.
