Dutch-born defender of Ghanaian descent, Jamal Amofa has been named in the Eredivisie Team of the Week.
The youngster was in action for Go Ahead Eagles over the weekend when the team hosted Heerenveen.
In a matchday 10 encounter of the Dutch Eredivisie campaign, Jamal Amofa starred with a top performance in defense to help his team to pick a crucial point after a 1-1 draw.
Having finished the game with a high rating of 8, Jamal Amofa has now been named in the Dutch Eredivisie Team of the Week.
The 23-year-old makes the Team of the Week alongside Dutch-Ghanaian striker Brian Brobbey.
The forward bagged a brace for Ajax on Sunday to lead the team to a huge 7-1 win at the end of the contest against Excelsior.
