Ghanaian international Francis Amuzu has extended his stay with Belgian giants, Anderlecht, Footballghana.com can report.
The 23-year-old who joined the club in 2017 has been handed an improved contract which will keep him at the club for a longer period.
His current contract was supposed to expire in the summer of 2024 but Anderlecht have extended his deal to ward off interest from clubs.
The Belgian-born Ghanaian winger was a subject of interest for several clubs in the summer window but could not seal a move.
The Belgian giants had to reject an offer of 9 million euros from French side Nice to keep the Ghanaian youngster at the club.
The enterprising forward is currently injured but could be back in action after the international break.
Amuzu started for Anderlecht when they locked horns with Kortrijk in the Belgian Pro League on Sunday.
But he lasted only 18 minutes after picking up a hamstring injury in the sides 4-1 home win.
Amuzu has made 8 appearances in the Belgian top-flight this season, scoring 2 goals and providing 1 assist in the process.
