Ghanaian young midfielder Salis Abdul Samed scored his very first goal for RC Lens in the French Ligue 1 as they drubbed Lorient on Wednesday night.
Samed was on target from Lens who cruised to a 5-2 victory over Lorient at the Stade Bollaert-Delelis.
The hosts struck first in the game in the 24th minute Portuguese midfielder David Costa set up Florian Sotoca to get his 4th goal of the campaign.
Lens doubled their lead four minutes later through Wesley Said with another assist by Costa before Nigerian forward Terem Moffi pulled one back before the break.
Moffi scored again five minutes into the second half to draw Lorient level.
Lens restored their advantage after seven minutes with Abdul Samed latching on to a pass inside the box to unleash a great effort to beat goalie Yvon Mvogo.
Sotoca scored his second goal of the match in the 77th minute before Lois Openda sealed the massive victory for Lens four minutes from full-time.
The 22-year-old Ghanaian joined Lens this summer after an outstanding spell last term at Clermont Foot.
He has played all five matches in the Ligue 1 this campaign and has scored once in the process.
