Ghanaian forwards Zubairu Ibrahim and Kwaku Karikari power FK Jedinstvo Ub to 2-0 victory over Dubočica

Ghanaian duo Zubairu Ibrahim and Kwaku Karikari led FK Jedinstvo Ub to a commanding 2-0 win over Dubočica in the Serbian league.

Both forwards scored a goal each to secure the team’s second place in the standings before the start of the playoffs.

Zubairu and Karikari started the game and played 75 and 83 minutes respectively. The home team dominated the early stages of the game but failed to break through Dubočica’s backline. The first half ended scoreless.

In the 52nd minute, Karikari broke the deadlock, giving FK Jedinstvo Ub the lead. Zubairu, a former King Faisal star, scored the team’s second goal in the 73rd minute, putting on a stellar performance.

Dubočica attempted to make changes in the second half to score a goal, but the home team’s defense held firm, preventing the attackers from getting space in the box.

Zubairu has scored ten goals while Karikari has scored 12 goals for the Serbian outfit this season. The Ghanaian duo’s impressive performances have been crucial to FK Jedinstvo Ub’s success this season.

FK Jedinstvo Ub will look to continue their winning ways in the playoffs, with Zubairu and Karikari leading the charge.
