Ghanaian forward Sabit Abdulai is happy to have made his debut for Deportiva Ponferradina in the Spanish Segunda division.
The 23-year-old joined SD Ponferradina on a season-long loan from Getafe this transfer window.
Sabit came on as a substitute to help Ponferradina beat FC Cartagena SAD 3-2 in the season opener last weekend.
Speaking after the game, Sabit was happy to have made his debut and excited to play again after a difficult season.
“Last year I had a serious injury, but I am now recovered,” he explained.
“In Cartagena I felt very good on the pitch. I want to have a good year to help the team ”, specified the player on loan from Getafe, who also felt “very happy to have played again”.
