Ghanaian forward Patrick Twumasi has been voted Maccabi Netanya best player of the month for April following his terrifying performances in the Israeli Liga ha’Al.

Twumasi has been instrumental for Netanya since he joined on a free transfer in February after leaving German Bundesliga II side Hannover 96.

The 27-year-old has bagged 6 goals and provided one assist in 11 appearances for Netanya in the Israeli top-flight.

Twumasi emerged winner for the monthly gong after beating off competition from team mates Raz Shlomo, Igor Zlatanovic and Shay Konstantini.

He was announced winner on Tuesday on the club’s social networks after fans voting.

The former Black Stars player scored twice and was named man of the match over the weekend when Netanya thrashed Hapoel Be’er Sheva by a 3-0 scoreline.
