Ghanaian duo Iñaki Williams and Abdul Mumin have been nominated for La Liga African Player award
The award recognizes the best African player in La Liga, with 20 nominees from 13 African nations competing.
The winner will be decided through a combined vote of fans and sports journalists.
Iñaki Williams, who won the award last season, is looking to defend his title after an impressive performance with Athletic Bilbao.
He has scored six goals and delivered six assists, contributing significantly to Bilbao’s pursuit of a Champions League spot.
Abdul Mumin, on the other hand, has been a defensive stalwart and attacking threat for Rayo Vallecano, earning him a nomination despite suffering a knee injury that sidelined him for the remainder of the season.
The duo will face tough competition from other elite African talents, including Reinildo Mandava, Flavien Enzo Boyomo, Pape Gueye, Nicolas Pepe, and Logan Costa.
Voting is open until May 14, and the winner will be announced on May 25.
