Ghanaian defender Nicholas Opoku is back at Amiens SC for pre-season as summer preparations continue for the impending European season.
The central defender was spotted training with his teammates during the week ahead of another campaign in the French Ligue 1.
Opoku trained more in the defensive midfield role as he is seen as a replacement for departed midfielder, Mateo Pavlovic.
The 24-year-old is expected to start in the middle of the park in the friendly against AJ Auxerre on Saturday.
Opoku joined Amiens SC in 2021 from Italian outfit Udinese on a long-term deal.
He has scored one goal in 12 appearances for the Black Stars since his debut in 2017.
