Ghanaian defender Jarell Quansah assists a goal for Liverpool in 1-1 draw with Fulham

England defender of Ghanaian descent, Jarell Quansah provided an assist for a goal on Wednesday night to help Liverpool draw 1-1 with Fulham.

The two English top-flight clubs locked horns today at Craven Cottage in the second leg of their tie in the EFL Cup semi-final.

Just 11 minutes into the first half, forward Luis Diaz scored to give Liverpool the lead.

Defender Jarell Quansah assisted the goal.

Later in the second half, Fulham restored parity in the 76th minute through a strike from Issa Diop after Harry Wilson assisted him.

While the game ended in a 1-1 draw, Liverpool are through to the finals of the EFL Cup with a 3-2 aggregate victory.

Liverpool will now prepare to face off with fellow Premier League side Chelsea in the final.

That top clash in the final will be played on Sunday, February 25 at Wembley.
