Ghana youngster Kamal Sowah makes history with Club Brugge in UCL

Ghana international, Kamal Sowah has made history with Club Brugge after playing a key role to help the team qualify for the knockout stage of the Uefa Champions League for the first time ever.

The forward last week was on the score sheet when Club Brugge defeated Atletico Madrid 2-0 at home.

Yesterday, the young winger started for his Belgian club when the team played as a guest to the Spanish opponent in the reverse fixture.

At the end of a game that ended goalless, Club Brugge secured qualification to the knockout stage of this season’s Uefa Champions League with two games to spare.

The feat is historical in the sense that this is the first time Club Brugge is going to play in the knockout stages of the European competition.

“This is a dream! We fought until the end and we finally did it. But our story doesn’t end here: let’s see how far we can go,” after the game, in-form goalkeeper Simon Mignolet shared.
