Ghana Women’s Premier League: Ampem Darkoa Ladies beat Savannah Ladies to emerge champions of Northern Zone

Last season’s Women’s Premier League finalists, Ampem Darkoa Ladies have for the third straight time won the Northern Zone of the Women’s Premier League.

The Techiman-based side, finished the campaign with twelve (12) wins, three (3) draws and three (3) losses – securing the top spot with thirty-nine (39) points – three points ahead of second placed Pearl Pia Ladies who finished the campaign with 36 points.

Pearlpia Ladies gave ‘’the Nanamma’’ a run, following a keenly contested race – but missed out on the final day of the season after drawing with Ashtown Ladies in a 4-goal thriller while Ampem Darkoa Ladies annihilated newcomers FC Savannah 4:0 to sail through.

The Women’s Premier League final is slated for the Accra Sports stadium on May 28, 2022 at 3:00pm.
