Ghana international, Ransford-Yeboah Königsdörffer has opened up on his spectacular goal against Hannover 96.
In a German Bundesliga game in September, the winger went on a solo 70-meter run before scoring to give Hamburg SV a delightful 2-1 victory.
Looking back at the goal, an elated Ransford-Yeboah Königsdörffer says he is happy he was able to help his team.
According to him, it was a special moment for him to score such a fantastic goal.
“A goal like that doesn’t happen that often. It was nice, I could help the team. We took three points. That’s good for our situation,” Ransford-Yeboah Königsdörffer said as quoted by Bild.
The Black Stars forward added, “It’s something special, but I don’t want to rest on my laurels now.”
Ransford-Yeboah Königsdörffer is one of many in-form Ghana wingers whose names have been provided by Ghana head coach Otto Addo to FIFA in his provision squad for the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
