Ghana international forward Joseph Paintsil played his 100th match for KRC Genk over the weekend when they beat Zulte Waregem in the Belgium Jupiler Pro League.
The 24-year-old lasted the entire duration of the match as Genk thrashed Waregem 4-1 at away at the Elindus Arena on Sunday.
Paintsil signed for the Belgian powerhouse in July 2018 from Ghanaian club Tema Youth after a successful loan spell in the Hungarian Liga.
The winger scored 10 goals and assisted seven others in 27 matches during the season-long loan at Ferencvárosi TC.
He signed for Genk on a five-year contract in a deal worth reported to be around €3.5 million.
The Black forward played 23 matches in all competitions in his first season at Genk. He scored only once.
Paintsil spent the 2020-21 campaign on loan at Turkish Superlig side MKE Ankaragucu where he managed to net 11 goals in 33 games.
He returned to Genk for the 2021-22 season where he made 36 appearances, scored 7 and provided 5 assists in the process.
Paintsil has since become a key member of the Genk team. He has bagged 2 goals and provided an assist after four matches into the 2022-23 season.
