Ghana will qualify from the group stage – Hans Nunoo Sarpei

Ingolstadt midfielder, Hans Nunoo Sarpei is highly convinced Ghana will make it through from the group stages in the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

Black Stars will make their fourth appearance in the world biggest football tournament since 2006, after missing the last edition stage in Russia.

The West African giants will have to battle with Portugal, Uruguay and South Korea in Group H at the global showpiece set to kick off in November.

Sarpei is confident Ghana will make it pass the group stages to emulate what transpired 12 years ago in South Africa.

“The team is made up of so many talented players who have what it takes to make the nation proud in Qatar so I am convinced they will will qualify from the group stage” Hans Sapei told Graphic Sports in an interview.

Ghana was one step away from becoming the first African country to make it to the semis of the World Cup in 2010.

Sapei is yet to make his international debut for the Stars despite being considered by Coach Addo in recent times.
