Ghana striker Kwesi Appiah thrilled with the immense progress made in his recovery from a long-term injury.
The Crystal Palace man who was on loan at Reading suffered the injury while with the Black Stars for an international assignment back in June.
He was thus forced to withdraw from the Ghana squad to make a quick return to his base in England to undergo surgery.
The 25-year-old who is expected to be out for at least six months has since been undergoing rehabilitation.
Appiah posted on social media: “Turned a corner today with rehab! Great feeling! Looking forward to the upcoming weeks.”
Kwesi Appiah was given a good run out with the Black Stars at the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations where he helped Ghana clinch silver in Equatorial Guinea.
