Ghana striker Inaki Williams consoles Real Betis defender after losing father

Ghana striker, Inaki Williams spent time consoling Real Betis defender Luiz Felipe who lost his father.

Felipe was sent off in their goalless game after a heated confrontation with Ernesto Valverde following his tackle on Iker Munian.

Before the game, the defender before had lost his father and was given the option to feature or to be left out f the squad but decided to play.

According to a report filed by Estadio Deportivo, Williams went to Felipe after the match to commiserate with him following the passing of the player’s father, Luiz Carlos Silva.

Meanwhile, Williams was a handful for the Betis defender, causing trouble for the hosts despite failing to score.

The 28-year-old has been a key figure at Athletic Bilbao, and he is currently on a run of over 200 successive games in La Liga.

Williams who had a tough World Cup with the Black Stars is on the radar of several clubs in Europe with Liverpool hoping to pay the release clause close to 130 million euros.
