Ghana star Partey likely to start from Arsenal bench in Everton clash —

Ghana international Thomas Partey is unlikely to start for Arsenal in their outstanding English Premier League game against Everton Wednesday, the club has announced.

“Despite returning against Leicester City on Saturday, Thomas Partey may only be fit enough for the bench again, which leaves Gabriel Jesus and Mohamed Elneny as our only other absentees,” the Arsenal statement read.

The midfielder came off the bench at the 84th-minute mark to play against Leicester City at the King Power Stadium.

Arsenal have won 99 of our 203 league games against Everton, and they could become the first team in English league history to register 100 victories against a specific opponent.

The Toffees have won four of their last five league games against us. It’s as many victories as they had in their previous 28 (D8 L16).
