Fresh from beginning their 2-0 win at Accra Lions, Vision FC return to Nii Adjei Kraku II Sports Complex to battle city rivals Legon Cities in match week three of the Premier League, scheduled for  Saturday September 21, 2024.

While Vision FC cruised to victory away from home in the capital in the last encounter, Legon Cities suffered defeat at home to continue their early difficulties.

It’s been an immersion of grace into the top flight for the newly promoted side Vision FC,  which have so far presided over two Premier League games without a defeat. They drew goalless at home against Berekum Chelsea and won 2-0 at Accra Lions.

After two games, Vision FC are second in the league table with four points and are yet to concede their first ever Premier League goal.

An underwhelming start to Legon Cities’ this season Premier League campaign after losing their first two games to Bibiani Gold Stars (2-1) and Medeama SC (0-1).

The visitors  must be fully focused on the visit to Vision FC on Saturday for which they start as outsiders with the hope of securing their first victory in the 2024/25 campaign.  Legon Cities were the second weakest away side last season with just 2 win, 2 draws and suffered 13 defeats prior to this game.

Vision FC is playing Legon Cities for the first time in the league after gaining promotion into the Premiership this season.

Vision FC boasts youngsters Labaran Majeed Alidu, Elijah Addai, Kinsley Appiah, Daniel Yemoh, Joshua Kwame Rhule, Tsatsu Ben Teyechu, Nicholas Mensah, Suraj Musah, Kusi Nana Asante, Issa Akuka Issifu, Frank Abora Duku and Godfred Boakye.

Frank Akoto, Morris Fuseini, George Asamoah, Mohammed Alidu, Nasiru Sumaila, Dennis Adoma, Ishawu Alhassan, Kojo Gyesi, Ishmael Amoah, Foster Twum, Fatawu Ganiwu and Joseph Kumah are available for the game on Saturday for Legon Cities.
