Ghana Premier League: Medeama SC hold Asante Kotoko to 1-1 draw

Medeama SC held league challengers Asante Kotoko to a 1-1 draw in week 16 of the Ghana Premier League at the T&A Stadium in Tarkwa.

Opoku opened the scoring for the Porcupines in the 44th minute, giving the visitors advantage before half time break.

Kamaradini Mamudu got the equalizer in the 68th minute, bringing the host back in the game.

The Marve and Yellows mounted pressure on Kotoko with goalkeeper Mohamed Camara making crucial saves to keep the scoreline levelled.

Kotoko sit 6th on the league standings with 28 points after 16 games and will host Vision FC in Kumasi in their next game.

Medeama SC are 7th with 25 points and will face Nsoatreman FC at the in their next fixture.
