New Edubiase United ended their winless run in the Premier League season by posting a 2-1 win over B/A United at the Len Clay Stadium in Obuasi on Saturday.

First-half double strikes from Fuseini Nuhu and James Boadu claimed the maximum points at stake for the Movers in the Ashanti Region.

Enoch Gyimah’s 38th minute penalty was not enough to earn anything from the game for the Soccer Apostles.

Prior to the game Edubiase were rock bottom on the table having picked just a point from their opening three games of the campaign.

United were also determined to earn at least a point from the game having dropped all six points in their last two games.

But a resolute Edubiase side cruised in the opening minutes of the game – scored twice and ensured the game ended at their advantage.
