Ghana head coach Otto Addo has named a 22-man squad for the Black Stars’ upcoming international friendlies against Japan and South Korea, with several new players handed their first national team invitations.
Medeama SC winger Kelvin Nkrumah, Prince Kwabena Adu from the Czech Republic, and CF Montreal forward Prince Osei Owusu are among the debutants in the traveling team.
Sources close to the team reveal that Otto Addo and his backroom staff have been monitoring Nkrumah for several months, impressed by his consistency and attacking flair.
The 18-year-old has featured in all nine Ghana Premier League games this season, helping Medeama climb to second place on the log.
Prince Osei Owusu, who previously played for Toronto FC in Major League Soccer, has been a standout performer for CF Montreal this season.
Former Bechem United striker Prince Kwabena Adu also makes the squad after a string of solid performances in the Czech Republic.

The Black Stars will face Japan on November 14 at the Toyota Stadium in Aichi before taking on South Korea four days later as part of the 2025 Kirin Cup.
These matches are expected to give Addo the opportunity to evaluate his squad depth and test new combinations.
Otto Addo will hold his first training session in Nagoya on Wednesday as preparations begin in earnest for the two friendlies.
