Ghana’s Black Queens received a visit from officials of the Ghana mission in the UAE, who assured them of government support and commitment to their safety and welfare.
The delegation, comprising Consul and Head of Chancery Abdul-Jalil Sigli Yakubu Abdulai, Consular Officer Percy Okudzeto, and Head of Transport Anas Shaibu, met with the team in camp.
“We came to assure you of the government’s support and commitment to your safety and welfare,” the delegation conveyed, expressing their concern for the team’s well-being amid the current situation in the Middle East.
The Black Queens appreciated the visit, expressing gratitude for the government’s support. “We are grateful for the government’s concern and support. We are safe and focused on our tournament,” the team said.
The visit comes as the team prepares for their next match in the Pink Ladies Cup, with their game against Russia postponed due to the regional unrest.
The Ghana mission in the UAE continues to work closely with the team to ensure their safety and well-being.
