Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey has been named among the top 10 highest paid African footballers in the World.
This is according to the data compiled by Voetbal Travel on which player earns more in 2022. It analysed salaries of over 32,000 active soccer players from 200+ countries, mapping each nation’s highest paid soccer star.
Senegal’s all-time top goalscorer Sadio Mané is the highest earning player in Africa, earning an annual salary of $21,382,762.
Second on the list in Africa is Egyptian star and Liverpool striker, Mohamed Salah, who earns $20,573,826 and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, from Gabon, coming third with $14,695,590.
Ghanaian international Thomas Partey is in fourth place earning $11,756,472 at Arsenal.
Achraf Hakimi of Morocco is in 5th place, earning $9,993,001, while Franck Kessie of Cote d’ivoire is sixth with a salary of $8,747,493.
Nigeria’s striker, Victor Osimhen, Naby Keita of Guinea and Riyad Mahrez of Algeria are both tied on 7th, earning $7,053,883 apiece.
Geoffrey Kondogbia of Central African Republic is on 10th position, earning $6,701,189.
