Ghana midfielder Thomas Partey among five top African players to feature at 2022 FIFA World Cup

Africa will be well represented at the 2022 FIFA World Cup scheduled to be staged in Qatar later next month.

After months of anticipation, the mundial is a little over a month away from kicking off.

The five countries that will be representing Africa include Senegal, Morocco, Cameroon, Tunisia, and Ghana.

While every national team of the five countries boast of stars playing for different top clubs in Europe, only a handful are standout players.

The big question is who will be the main man to make a difference for the respective national teams from the continent to compete at the world stage.

While that will be only known with time, it is evident Senegal’s Sadio Mane will be key for his side.

Not only did the former Liverpool poster boy lead Senegal to the Africa Cup of Nations triumph early this year but he is also the reigning African Player of the Year.

Besides the new Bayern Munich attacker, other players will certainly be instrumental for their counties.

Among the top five of those players is Ghana star Thomas Partey. Steadily, the combative midfielder has hit top form in England where he plays for Arsenal.

Just last weekend, he was a star for the Gunners and helped the team to beat Liverpool 3-2 in the English Premier League.
