Ghana midfielder Mohammed Kudus has won another trophy with Ajax following the Dutch giants’ Eredivise victory on Wednesday.
Ajax defeated Heerenveen 5-0 at home to successfully defend their title, with goals from Nicolas Tagliafico, Steven Berghuis, Sebastien Haller, Brian Brobbey, and Edson Alvarez.
It is Kudus’ third trophy since moving to the Netherlands from Danish side Nordsjallaned in the summer of 2020 for 9 million euros.

The victory brings a happy ending to a difficult season for the gifted midfielder. Kudus has been plagued by injuries, limiting him to only 15 league appearances.
He came off the bench to replace veteran Davy Klaassen on Wednesday and played 22 minutes as Ajax clinched the title for a record-extending 36 times.
Ajax have been cautious due to Kudus’ injury issues, not allowing him to play the entire duration of a game this season. He has mostly been used as a substitute.
His significant contribution to the title victory came against Nijmegen on April 23. With five minutes remaining, he came off the bench to set up the game-winning goal that edged Ajax closer to the title.
Kudus also scored in the 5-0 thumping of Fortuna Sittard earlier in the season.
