Ghana midfielder Emmanuel Lomotey disappointed after sending off in Malmo’s defeat to Union Berlin

Ghana international, Emmanuel Lomotey has apologised to his Malmo FF teammates after letting the team down.

On Thursday, the midfielder made a substitute appearance for the Swedish club in the Europa League match against Union Berlin.

Just ten minutes after his introduction in the second half, Emmanuel Lomotey picked a second yellow card and was sent off.

Speaking after the game, the Ghana player apologised and said he is disappointed because he let the team down.

“It feels like I let the team down, I feel disappointed,” Emmanuel Lomotey stressed after the game.

Unfortunately for Emmanuel Lomotey, his team while finishing the game against Union Berlin with 10 men suffered a 1-0 defeat at the end of the 90 minutes.

Courtesy of the red card, the midfielder is expected to miss the next Europa League match against Union Saint-Gilloise.
