Ghana goalkeeper Lawrence Ati-Zigi suspended for three matches after red card in Swiss Super League

Ghana international, Lawrence Ati-Zigi has been suspended for three matches in Switzerland following the red card he received over the past weekend.

The goalkeeper was in post for his FC St. Gallen side on Saturday when the team lost 3-2 to Grasshoppers.

Ati-Zigi was sent off in the 96th minute after delivering a violent kick on Grasshopper player Petar Pusic, for wasting time.

After reviewing the incident, Lawrence Ati-Zigi has been suspended for three matches.

He is expected to miss the Swiss Super League match between FC St. Gallen and Luzern on Saturday, August 13.

Subsequently, the Black Stars shot-stopper will miss two more matches.

After just four games into the season, St Gallen have received three red cards in the Swiss top flight.
