Ghana goalkeeper Lawrence Ati-Zigi produces scintillating display in St. Gallen easy win over Lugano –

Black Stars goalkeeper Lawrence Ati-Zigi was in devastating for his club FC St. Gallen in the Swiss Super League when they easily beat FC Lugano.

St. Gallen proved too strong for the visitors having thrashed them 3-0 on Sunday at the Kybunpark in the round 31 encounter.

Ati-Zigi was among the highest rated players for his side after keeping his sixth clean sheet in the league this campaign. He was rated 6.0 for his display in the game.

The 25-year-old made a statement in the match to show he is currently the best shot stopper in the Swiss top-flight this season.

Ati-Zigi made two crucial saves in the game to prevent the opponents from getting a goal together with great reflexes in the second half.

St. Gallen got the breakthrough in the 19th minute through Lukas Gortler who converted a penalty kick. Julian Von Moss and Fabian Schubert added the rest of the goals before the break.

The former Red Bull Salzburg trainee have attracted suitors from other European clubs following his outstanding skills when manning the goalposts.

St. Gallen will face Lugano again in the Swiss Cup final on May 15, 2022 at the Stade de Suisse in Bern.
