Right-back Raymond Adjei has extended his stay with Östers IF after agreeing to a new two-year contract that runs until 2027.
The 21-year-old, born in Sweden to Ghanaian parents, continues to attract attention for his steady growth despite Öster’s relegation from the Swedish topflight.
Adjei joined the club from Malmö FF in 2024 and has since established himself as one of the squad’s emerging talents.
Öster confirmed his extension, noting that he had ten league appearances in the 2025 Allsvenskan and featured in 11 matches across all competitions.
His performances have cemented his place as one of the club’s most exciting young defenders.
Adjei’s potential has not gone unnoticed, especially by Ghanaian football followers.
Though capped by Sweden at U15 and U18 levels, he remains eligible to switch allegiance and represent Ghana at senior level.
With Öster planning to rebuild around their promising talents, his development in the coming seasons could put him firmly on the Black Stars’ radar.
