Head coach of Ghana, Otto Addo, has reacted to the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers draw held on Thursday afternoon.
The Black Stars have been drawn to face Angola, Sudan, and Niger during the upcoming qualifiers in September.
Speaking to Ghanafa.org, Addo expressed confidence in his team’s ability to succeed in the group.
“We have to be at our 100% best to beat everyone. There is no small team in Africa at the moment,” Addo said.
“You saw at the last AFCON that very, very strong and known teams had problems with the so-called unknown teams, so it’s going to be tough, but I think we have the quality to beat all of them. But it’s going to be close, it’s going to be tough, there are no easy games.”
Ghana will be looking forward to making their 26th appearance at the continental competition and securing their first trophy since 1982.
The main tournament is scheduled to kick off in Morocco from December 21st, 2025, to January 19th, 2026.
