TheGeneral secretary of the Ghana Football Association, Prosper Harrison Addo joined Joseph Paintsil at Fadama today as he laid his late father to rest.
Mr. Joseph Paintsil a.k.a (S.I.C) died at the age of 70 after a short battle with illness.
The GFA scribe was alongside Executive Council member Nana Sarfo Oduro who graced the event on behalf of the football governing body to mourn with the Black Star winger and his family.
Paintsil was conspicuously omitted from Ghana’s final 26-man squad for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
The Black Stars failed to glitter as they exited the tournament at the Group stage.
